Healing Across the Gender Spectrum

Join us for this extended introduction to the Gender Equity and Reconciliation International (GERI) LGBTQ+ Program. This series aims to facilitate workshops, programs and courses empowering LGBTQ+ people by creating a safe space to interact with others through storytelling methodologies, trauma-healing and peer-support.
In this three-session course, our facilitators will guide you through an experiential process in an intimate LGBTQ+ space, as we begin exploring sensitive issues of gender and sexuality in a safe and open environment

For more than 30 years, GERI’s unique, international program has enabled healing of the gender wounds in the human family. Based in spiritual practices and principles, this program brings together men and women in a deeply relational and life-giving process of mutual truth-telling and healing.
This workshop creates a safe forum where we can awaken a deeper empathy and understanding and begin to discover practical pathways towards healing and transforming our relationships. Together we can begin to re-form relations between women and men, and all people, without blame or shame, and move through the often unspoken, unconscious attitudes, fears and reactions around gender and sexuality, to reclaim the mutual harmony and reverence that is our birthright.
Our facilitators will guide you through an experiential process that will involve personal reflection, group discussion, and support you in unpacking and exploring sensitive issues of gender and sexuality.
Cost: There are three price levels which participants self-select: Normal Price (440€), Sponsor Price (520€), and Reduced Price (330€). This price includes the workshop fee plus food/drinks/snacks. There are a few sleeping places in the center. Most participants will need to rent a room in the local village (15 minute walk).

Desarrollado durante 30 años y realizado con miles de participantes en seis continentes, el proceso GERI aplica principios de Verdad y Reconciliación para abrir nuevos caminos hacia la sanación, el respeto, la intimidad y la colaboración entre los géneros. Juntxs podemos comenzar a reformar las relaciones entre mujeres y hombres, y todas las personas, sin culpa ni vergüenza, y avanzar a través de las actitudes, los miedos y las reacciones inconscientes y a menudo tácitas en torno al género y la sexualidad, para recuperar la armonía mutua y la reverencia que es nuestro derecho de nacimiento.
Nuestrxs facilitadorxs le guiarán a través de un proceso experiencial que involucrará reflexión personal, discusión grupal y le apoyarán para desentrañar y explorar temas delicados de género y sexualidad.

Together, women, men, and people of all genders and sexual orientations can jointly confront sensitive and often taboo issues relating to gender and sexuality—without shame and blame—and collaborate skillfully to reach a breakthrough of newfound respect, trust, and even mutual reverence.
Endorsed by Archbishop Desmond Tutu in 2013, and developed over 31 years across six continents, the GERI methodology applies principles of Truth and Reconciliation to gender and sexual injustice, opening new pathways to healing, respect, intimacy and collaboration between the genders.
